Italian figure skating star Matteo Rizzo is set to perform in Lithuania. The European Championships medalist and Milano Cortina Olympic bronze medalist will perform on April 3, 2027, at Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena in the ice show “Elements 3: Galaxy”.
It will mark Rizzo’s third appearance in the “Elements” project. The Italian skater took part in the first edition of the show, returned this spring for “Elements 2: Pasadoblis”, and will now once again be part of the new production.
Rizzo has become one of the most recognizable faces of the “Elements” ice show, building a connection with Kaunas and Lithuanian audiences over several years.

A medal won in Kaunas
Kaunas holds a special place in Matteo Rizzo’s career. At the 2024 European Figure Skating Championships held at Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena, the Italian won the bronze medal in the men’s singles event.
It was one of the standout achievements of his career and further proof that Rizzo has belonged among Europe’s elite skaters for many years.
The bronze medal in Kaunas is not his only European Championships success. Rizzo has won four European medals in total: two silver and two bronze. He is also a two-time Italian champion.

Olympic bronze on home ice
The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games marked another major milestone in Rizzo’s career.
Italy won the bronze medal in the figure skating team event, with Rizzo playing a decisive role in the final stage of the competition. With a confident performance in the men’s free skate, he secured Italy a place on the Olympic podium.
It was a special result not only for the athlete himself, but for Italian figure skating as a whole. Bronze at a home Olympics became the Italian team’s historic first medal in the team event.

Third appearance in the “Elements” project
Back in 2025, Matteo Rizzo was one of the skaters who helped introduce a new arena ice show format in Lithuania – a production combining performances by world-class athletes with music, lighting, visual design and the atmosphere of a live arena.
Rizzo later returned for the second edition, “Elements 2: Pasadoblis”, and in 2027 he will perform at Žalgirio Arena for a third time – now in the new show “Elements 3: Galaxy”.

Mature skating and a strong connection with music
Matteo Rizzo’s skating stands out for its maturity, musicality and clear sense of the program. His performances combine technical execution with emotional precision, qualities that are especially important in an arena ice show format.
In “Elements”, skaters’ programs are presented in a broader context, enhanced by music, lighting, video projections, technical effects and the energy of the audience. This format allows viewers to experience a skater’s performance not simply as a competitive program, but as a true artistic performance.

“Elements 3: Galaxy” – a new universe on ice
The third edition of “Elements” will return to Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena with a completely new theme – “Galaxy”. The show will combine figure skating with music, lighting, video projections, technical effects and large-scale arena direction.
Alongside Matteo Rizzo, Žalgirio Arena will host Lithuanian and international figure skating stars: Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius, Olympic champions Laurence Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron, other Olympic, World and European Championships medalists, well-known performers and representatives of other performing arts.
“Elements 3: Galaxy” – April 3, 2027, at Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena.
