Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius are returning to Lithuania. The ice dance duo will perform at Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena on April 3 in the new ice show “Elements 3: Galaxy”.
Reed and Ambrulevičius have become an integral part of “Elements”. Following two shows that drew crowds of thousands, the pair will return for the third edition, featuring a completely new theme, programme and another world-class cast.
Year after year among Europe’s and the world’s best
Reed and Ambrulevičius began skating together in 2017 and, over recent seasons, have established themselves among Europe’s and the world’s leading ice dance teams.
Since 2022, the Lithuanian duo have finished five consecutive European Championships among the top eight couples: eighth in 2022, just outside the medals in fourth place in 2023, bronze medallists in 2024, sixth in 2025 and fifth in 2026.
The pair have also consistently placed among the leaders at the World Championships. Allison and Saulius broke into the top ten in 2022, climbed to seventh in 2023 and sixth in 2024. At the 2026 World Championships in Prague, the Lithuanian duo were once again among the frontrunners, ending the season in seventh place.
A historic night in Kaunas
One of the most important moments of Allison and Saulius’ careers, however, came in Kaunas.
At the European Figure Skating Championships held in a packed Žalgirio Arena in January 2024, the Lithuanian pair won bronze medals. It was Lithuania’s first European Championship medal in ice dance in 18 years.
The bronze medal in Kaunas became not only one of the pair’s greatest sporting achievements, but also an important milestone in their journey. At the end of 2024, Allison was granted Lithuanian citizenship, opening the way for the pair to represent Lithuania together at the Olympic Games.
The road to the Olympic Games
After the pair were unable to secure a direct Olympic berth at the 2025 World Championships, everything came down to the additional Olympic qualifying event in Beijing. The Lithuanian skaters left no doubt there: they won both the rhythm dance and free dance, comfortably topped the overall standings and secured Lithuania a place at the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.
It marked the beginning of an excellent Olympic season. Reed and Ambrulevičius won bronze at the Grand Prix de France, silver at Skate Canada, and then competed among the world’s six best ice dance teams at the season-ending Grand Prix Final, where they finished fifth.
At the long-awaited Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games, the Lithuanian duo finished sixth in the ice dance competition, while their combined score of 204.66 points across the two programmes became a new personal best.
Their Olympic week began even before they stepped onto the competition ice, as Allison and Saulius were chosen to carry the Lithuanian flag at the Games’ opening ceremony.
Returning to “Elements”
On April 3, “Elements 3: Galaxy” will mark their third appearance in the “Elements” show. This time, audiences will see the pair not in a competition programme, but in a performance created specifically for the arena show, bringing figure skating together with music, lighting, visuals and technical production.
Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius are the first participants announced for “Elements 3: Galaxy”.
They will be joined by Olympic, World and European champions and medallists, leading names from different figure skating disciplines, and other world-class skaters. New stars of “Galaxy” will be announced soon.
