The world’s biggest figure skating stars will return to Kaunas next spring. On 3 April, Žalgirio Arena will host the third edition of the Elements ice show – Elements 3: Galaxy.
The first two editions of Elements attracted thousands of spectators to Kaunas, filling the country’s largest arena. Next year, the show will return with a completely new theme, programme and another world-class cast.
Taking to the ice at Žalgirio Arena will be Lithuanian ice dancers Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius, Olympic and world champions Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron, and Spanish duo Olivia Smart and Tim Dieck, who cemented their place among the world’s elite last season.
These are only the first Galaxy stars to be announced.
They will be joined by other Olympic, world and European champions and medallists, leading representatives of different figure skating disciplines and Lithuania’s top athletes. The full international cast will be revealed gradually.
For the first time in Lithuania, the show will also present Synchro9, a new synchronised skating discipline already included in the programme of the 2030 Olympic Winter Games. The world champions will deliver a special performance for the Kaunas audience.
Each edition of Elements is created as a completely new production. Although they are united by world-class figure skating, the theme, programme, stage design and overall visual direction change every time.
Elements 3: Galaxy will combine figure skating with music, dance, lighting and visual concepts created specifically for Žalgirio Arena.
A major part of the production will feature unexpected technical elements, stage transformations and the creative use of different areas of the arena. The entire programme is being designed as a 360-degree spectacle.
Alongside the world’s most renowned skaters, well-known musical artists will perform in the arena, while artists from other performing arts disciplines will also contribute to the programme. Throughout the arena, skating will merge with dance, acrobatics and stage performances created especially for the show.
All of this will come together in one seamless production, where world-class sport, music, movement, light and technology create the shared world of Galaxy.
The first two editions of Elements were completely different from one another. The third will transport audiences into yet another new universe. Elements 3: Galaxy will take place on 3 April at Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas. Tickets are available from Bilietai.lt.
